Privacy Policy

AudiMetr (“we”, “us”) is an independent music analytics platform at audimetr.com. We protect your personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

AudiMetr is the data controller. Questions about your data: privacy@audimetr.com.

2. Information we collect

Account data: email address, encrypted login credentials, plan and settings. Accounts not verified by email within 48 hours are deleted automatically.

Artist profile data: artist name, bio, genres, country, images, links, achievements and saved plaques.

Imported reports: distributor statement files you upload (e.g. DistroKid) and the streams, tracks, ISRCs, platforms and countries in them. Earnings are private — we never publish, sell or display them publicly.

Newsletter (optional): only if you opt in. Unsubscribe any time.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide your analytics, achievements, plaques and public artist page.
  • To verify stream milestones against original distributor statements.
  • To send essential emails (verification, password reset, security) from notify.audimetr.com.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use no advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

  • Strictly necessary storage: browser storage keeps you signed in and remembers interface preferences.
  • Anonymous visitor statistics: we count views on public artist pages without storing IP addresses, using a daily-changing one-way hash that cannot identify you or follow you across sites.
  • Spotify players: if you play an embedded Spotify track, Spotify may set its own cookies under Spotify’s privacy policy.

5. Retention & deletion

You can delete an artist profile or your whole account at any time under Settings → Danger Zone. Account deletion permanently removes your profiles, imports, plaques and uploaded files.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Use the controls in the app or email privacy@audimetr.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Sweden: IMY).
